My Story

My name is Sarah Blackburn and I'm a licensed mental health counselor, author, and owner of Therapy & Tattoos, LLC. I am also a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator. I have been in the field of mental health for over a decade and actively practicing since 2015. I graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Specializing in Forensic Psychology. 

Life can be unbelievably hard sometimes - I deeply understand this. You could have been through the traumatic loss of a sibling, parent, spouse, or friend and are just trying to find solid ground. You could have overcome drug addiction, incarceration, or abuse and want to reclaim how strong you were to survive. You could be navigating after a significant breakup or relationship that lasted years - and almost feel like you lost yourself in the identity of the relationship. You could even be numb navigating the court process as you fight for your reputation.
