My Story
Katrina Dorow-Stevens, LPC
Clinical Therapist

My name is Katrina and I am a license professional counselor in WI. I graduated from the Adler School of Professional Psychology with a Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Forensic Psychology. I have committed my 10+ year career with a focus on helping clients in forensic setting such as prison, county jails, and SUD services.
Over time, I have recognized the need for trauma focused services in my clients as well as their families. This has sparked an interest in furthering my knowledge and training to helping others process trauma with the hope of healing sooner than later in your life. I am specially trained in different trauma modalities, compassion fatigue, and grief to help meet someone where they are at rather then where anyone thinks you “should” be. I have always believed that if I am able to help one person in a career – that is a lifetime career well worth it.
I want to hear your stories. When we tell stories, there are often themes throughout that most do not even realize. This is Narrative therapy which aims to separate the individual from the problem, allowing the individual to externalize their issues rather than internalize them. You are more then the story, so let’s figure it out together.
