My Story
Heather Mattson, LCSW
Clinical Therapist

Hey! I’m Heather and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to meeting clients where they are in their healing journey. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate space where individuals can explore their stories, build resilience, and rediscover their inner strength.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Lakeland University, and an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement from Fox Valley Technical College.
With experience working with children, teens, and adults across a variety of settings, I bring a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by at-risk youth, individuals on the autism spectrum, and survivors of trauma or sexual assault
Heather works with clients ages 4 and up, including families. I enjoy helping them navigate life’s challenges, process trauma, and build meaningful connections through empathy, understanding, and growth.
When I am not working she enjoys spending time with family & friends, volunteering for area non-profits and being creative. She lives in the Fox Valley with her husband, dogs (Max, Hannah, & Saturn), cats (Nala & Remy) & her turtle Tully.
I believe that healing begins when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.
